I’m often asked via email or Twitter where various components of my outfit are from, so as I have 15 minutes to spare before I start the standard Saturday night hot date with the girls and Prosecco (sorry rents – those grandchildren may take a little longer to materialise than I initially promised….), I’m taking the opportunity for a wardrobe reveal. Cheeky! Unlike imagery strong blogs like LLYMLRS, my new found girl crush s.t.r.u.t.t. or long term faves Man Repeller and Louder than Silence (hi Sally!), I don’t have a dutiful photography student boyfriend or camera wielding mother to document my every ensemble. I also have the pesky issue of a full time job so my daily dressing routine mainly involves picking up various threads from my bedroom floor and applying eyeliner in my building’s lift before stumbling to work in heels as opposed to mincing about in front of an SLR. More’s the pity…
If you want to take a look through the latest outfits chez moi head here, but for now, here’s a one time gratuitous shot of what I wore for my last blog outing to the theatre. And to work during the day -yeps, you can tell we’re like TOTALLY corporate at my current place of employment. TIME IS MONEY (read: time that could be spent on eBay…).
Blouse - H&M (you can get away with saying Cavalli. It’s not lying, it’s ‘stretching the truth’. Probably…)
Leather waistcoat – H&M
Faux fur collar – vintage c/o eBay
Necklace – ASOS
Shorts – vintage Levis c/o Rokit
Belt – vintage c/o charity shop
Wedges – New Look
Handbag – Chloe c/o Selfridges (don’t hate me)
Sunglasses – Rayban Wayfarers c/o Harvey Nichols
Watch – Michael Kors c/o Net a Porter

Love the fur collar…good times!
Enjoy New York, you will love it!! I do alot of shopping as well so you might like my blog
